Infected Insect Bite - Pre-Consultation

1. Check your symptoms are consistent with the condition

   We will ask a couple of questions about your symptoms, to help make sure our Pharmacist can help you and that you don't need more specialist care, through your GP, NHS 111 or an urgent care centre/A+E.

   
   

2. Book an appointment

   If your symptoms are suitable, you can choose a date and time for a video consultation, with our Pharmacist.

   
   

3. Consultation

   Our Pharmacist will email you a link to have your consultation, where they'll assess you and provide the best treatment and/or advice for your condition.

Infected Insect Bite

Important Notice

This service offering is specifically for adults and children over 1 year of age and experiencing symptoms of an infected insect bite. This is not for general medical/administration enquiries or conditions unrelated to infected insect bites.

Should you have any difficulty breathing, trouble swallowing, coughing up blood or any other symptom which may indicate that you have a life threatening injury, please contact 999 immediately and do not continue with this form.

An infected insect bite may include the following symptoms:

• Minor swelling around the insect bite

• Minor pain around the insect bite

• Warmth around the insect bite

• Localised redness around the insect bite
