The NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service is a convenient and free method of obtaining a further supply or starting an oral contraceptive, without needing to visit your GP surgery. The medication is delivered right to your door for free.
HOW IT WORKS
You choose your day of the week and time to receive a confidential phone call from our pharmacist.
2. Telephone Consultation
Have a confidential call in the comfort of your own home, where the pharmacist will ask some basic questions and establish the most suitable form of contraception for you. They can start a new pill for you or simply make a further supply of the one you already have.
3.Receive your contraception
Have your contraception delivered right to your door for free.

Who is this service for?
You need to be between your first period and 49 years of age (or 54 years of age for the progesterone only pill) to be eligible for this service.
If you are currently taking an oral contraceptive and need a further supply or wanting to start an oral contraceptive, then our pharmacist should be able to assist.
For your appointment, you will need to provide your height and weight. You may also be asked for a self-measured blood pressure reading, so it would be best to have this ready beforehand. We are unable to provide emergency contraception (also known as the morning after pill) or other forms of contraception, such as patches or implants.
If you are wondering if this service is suitable for you, a member of the team will be more than happy to assist.
